So....was 2015 your year?
If it was, congratulations are in order :-) ...If not, don't fret. It's 2016 and you have another shot at it.
I myself had a pretty mixed bag. Professionally I did well and kept the bills paid, tried some things outside of my comfort zone and found the time to work on a few photo projects of my own. Personally is another story..my parents had serious health scares which took all the wind out of my sails and I lost some close friends to similar issues. In spite of all that I managed to keep the boat upright and floating but for the first time in my life it felt like a lot of skin was left on the field. I'm ok with that though, it means I've earned the good times to follow.
On that note I'm getting back to some serious photo business this year.
I'm putting the finishing touches on my first book (ebook) and writing out the script for a Youtube only series I've code-named "Leigh's Adventures". I've wanted to do a comprehensive set of video tutorials using the images from my travels and commercial work for a long time. Life has a way of throwing more time sensitive things in the way though, but I finally have most of the tools at my disposal to make it happen. The focus will be on Workflow, Post Processing and Output for large-scaled printing. I'm hoping to get a few sponsors and contributing pros on board as well. So that's me for 2016 :-)
Happy New Year Everyone!
